Nani and Mrunal Thakur’s latest film Hi Nanna released in theatres on Thursday. The film stars child artist Baby Kiara Khanna in the role of Mahi, daughter of Nani’s character. During a pre-release event of the movie, Kiara got on stage and thanked her co-actors Nani and Mrunal for being ‘most caring’ towards her during the shoot. She also thanked the film’s director Shouryuv for choosing her for the role of Mahi.
Mrunal shared Kiara’s adorable video from Hi Nanna’s pre-release event on X, and wrote, “My princess.”
In her speech, Kiara said, “Hi Nanna (Nani) and Yashna (Mrunal). I love you both. I love Shouryuv sir and everyone. Shouryuv sir we miss you. I wish you were here. And thank you for choosing me as Mahi. Nanna and Yashna, you are the most caring people I have met. I had the best experience working with you. Thank you. Love you all.”

Hi Nanna has released to positive reviews. The film also stars Shruti Haasan and Angad Bedi in pivotal roles.
Indianexpress.com’s Raghu Bandi gave the film 3 stars and wrote, “Structurally the film is well packed in the first half, though few scenes involving the daughter could have been done better. The love story also feels predictable. The conflict point might not feel too dangerous to many as it is an issue of individual psychological fear. The second half is where the writer, director could have worked more as nothing notable happens till the climax.”
