A domestic dispute led to the suicides of a father-son duo in Punjab’s Ferozepur Wednesday.
Rajinder Dhawan, 60, and his son Rahul Dhawan, 32, ran a jewellery shop in Ferozepur, and they had an altercation over some issue, the police said.
Rajinder attempted suicide and was admitted to the Faridkot medical college, where he died later. After the death of his father, Rahul also ended his life, the police said. His body is yet to be found.
The police said they are waiting for the report of the post-mortem of Rajinder, who is survived by his wife.
Rahul is survived by his wife and a minor daughter.
