The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) today announced that the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) — India will be offered twice in 2024 – once in January and again in May. Interested candidates can register for the exam at the official LSAT website — lsatindia.in.
As per the schedule, the LSAT 2024 India exam (conducted by Pearson VUE) is scheduled to be conducted on January 20 and 21, 2024. As of now, the date for release of score cards has not been declared.
The application fee for one attempt (January or May) is Rs 3,999, and the candidates who wish to apply for both the attempts will have to pay Rs 7,998.
“No requests for a refund of the registration fee will be entertained once a candidate has successfully registered for the test. Once a candidate registers and pays for the LSAT—India™, they will not be able to defer it to the next test administration or the next year,” the official notice stated.
To register, candidates will require a valid email address and a mobile number, a passport size photograph, a valid photo ID having complete name, date of birth and signature, and digital payment means for paying the registration fees.
After that exam, candidates will receive a scaled score between 420 and 480 as well as a percentile rank. While they will receive credit for correct answers, there is no negative marking or penalty for incorrect responses.
