A 32-year-old woman died after falling from a sliding window of her apartment on the fifth floor in Bengaluru. The incident took place at the BDA apartment complex near Kannamangala area in east Bengaluru.
The woman fell to death while she was cleaning in the corridor of her flat.
The deceased, Kushboo Ashish Trivedi, was working as a software engineer in a private firm and lived in the 18-storey Vindhyagiri apartment complex at Doddabanahalli, reported Times of India.
As per the preliminary investigation, the police informed that the incident occurred between 4 pm and 4.30 pm on December 7. Later, a case of unnatural death was registered on December 9 following a complaint by the deceased’s father.
The police informed that the incident took place when Kushboo was cleaning the window of her flat. She was standing on a wooden shoe rack to clean the glass while the sliding door of the window was open.
She accidentally slipped and fell to the ground in the air shaft of two towers of the apartment complex. The family members immediately rushed her to a hospital where she was declared brought dead.
The police also informed that no CCTV camera was there to find out how she fell from the window. But, prima facie, it appeared that it was an accidental fall out of the sliding window.
