After their infamous feud on a flight from Australia, Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover have buried the hatchet and are now coming back together for a show on Netflix. The two comedy actors recently appeared in a promo of the show and confirmed that they were now at a point where they were comfortable joking about their fight. Not just on screen, the two actors have seemingly mended their relationship off screen as well.
Kapil and Sunil were recently clicked at a party for their show and it looked like they were engrossed in deep conversation. Archana Puran Singh, who is also a part of the show, shared some photos from a party hosted by Netflix. Fans of the stars were happy to see them together and expressed the same in the comments section. One of the fans wrote, “Nice to see Dr. Mashhoor Gulati back with Kapil… Bless.” Another fan wrote, “This is a beautiful reunion ❤️🧿”
Sunil Grover had been a part of Kapil’s comedy show since 2013 when he first appeared as Gutthi in Comedy Nights with Kapil. He moved to another channel to host his own show called Mad In India but it did not take off. When Kapil’s show moved to another channel and was renamed as The Kapil Sharma Show, Sunil joined him again and came on as another comic character named Dr Mashoor Gulati. Fans loved their repartee on screen but things took a turn when the duo got in a fight in 2018.
During a flight from Melbourne to India, the duo got in an altercation that led to Sunil quitting the show. The two have not appeared together in any show since then. The Netflix project marks their reunion.
