We have seen ‘The Archies’ team take the world by storm from its very first song to the trailer and the entire promotional spree. Now, the audience is all set to witness these young stars in the Zoya Akhtar directorial. Starring the young generation of Bollywood, the movie has paved the way to stardom for many of the celebrity kids.
Apart from the excitement to watch the already-famous star kids on screen, one constant praise that every ‘Archies’ talent have been receiving is appreciation for their flawless dance moves, be it skating their way in ‘Dhishoom Dhishoom’ or packing a punch with ‘Va Va Voom’. Well, if audiences are wondering about how did these young debutants pulled the choreography so smoothly, it’s all because of ace choreographer, Ganesh Hegde.
From making actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Sidharth Malhotra groove to his beats, it was a brand new experience choreographing these young talents. Speaking about his experience, the ‘Alcoholia’ choreographer shared, “One thing I absolutely loved about each one of them was their passion to prove they are worthy of the opportunity presented to them. No matter how heavy the day was, these youngsters used to give it their all, even at 5 in the morning with just few hours of sleep, their energies used to stay the same.”
“One advice I gave them was, no one will remember me but will see how effortlessly you shinned on that screen. So, do it for yourself before anyone else and that’s it. They took my advice and danced with sheer dedication. I can surely tell each one of them will have a bright future ahead,” he continued to say.
Ganesh Hegde was the first Indian pop icon during early 2000’s who produced, wrote, directed and starred in his debut music video- ‘Main Deewana’. Since then the choreographer have given lot of hits be it ‘Babuji’ or the recent sensational hit, ‘Manike’!
The film has released on the OTT platform ‘Netflix’ on December 7, 2023.
