Actors Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani graced the latest episode of Koffee with Karan season 8. Host Karan Johar was all smiles and excited to host the duo, who were previously seen together in the film Govinda Naam Mera. From spilling beans about their spouses to sharing hilarious anecdotes, the duo left Karan in splits with their antics.
In a fun segment, Karan asked Vicky and Kiara, “Fun story about breaking the ice with your in-laws.” Vicky shared his story first and said, “It was a fun episode. Fun in the sense it’ not comic but it was genuinely a lot of fun because I couldn’t meet for two years because of Covid, so I met them literally like the week before marriage and we had a party at my place. We were all drinking and dancing and it was like instantly we saw each other in the worst form.”
The actor continued, “Two hours into meeting each other, we were dancing on the floor. They have seen me dancing on Tip Tip Barsa Paani in the first meeting. Ice was broken, it melted and it was gone.”
Vicky and Katrina tied the knot in Rajasthan in 2021. The actor had opened up about the wedding while promoting the film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. He said, “Ek poora Pind Punjab ka aaya hua toh, ek seedhe UK returned the. Toh Saaf pata lag raha tha. (One was a complete Punjabi side of the family and the other side was UK-returned. The difference was quite visible).
On the work front, Vicky was recently seen in Meghana Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur. Also starring Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh, the film was released in theatres on December 1. Sam Bahadur clashed with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal.
